ISPR says 19 militants and one soldier killed in Balochistan operations

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said security forces conducted a clearance operation in the Shaban area of Quetta district from September 21 and carried out intelligence-based operations in Kech and Quetta West on September 22–23. ISPR said that following intense exchanges of fire during those operations 19 militants were killed and one soldier, Subedar Muhammad Jamil, was killed. ISPR said weapons, ammunition and explosives were recovered.
Dawn reported ISPR's statement, repeating that 19 militants had been killed and a soldier was "martyred". A later article repeating the same ISPR statement gave the same figures and locations.
