A child was killed by Israeli gunfire in al-Mawasi in Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip. Al Jazeera Arabic reported the death, citing ambulance and emergency sources; Middle East Eye repeated Al Jazeera Arabic's account. A subsequent local report named the child as 8-year-old Muhammad Saif Al-Din Abdel Wahab Al-Shakhrit and said Palestinians buried him; that account was published by ahlulhaqqn.
The earlier Al Jazeera Arabic item also said Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza the same day.
