17 Afghan migrants die of thirst near Iran border in Saravan, Baluchistan
The Haalvsh human rights organization reported that at least 17 Afghan migrants, including children, died of thirst in the Mak-Sookhteh area near the Rotak border in Saravan County, Baluchistan. The bodies were transferred to Khash because there was not enough capacity at the morgue in Saravan. Among the victims were five members of a family from Baghlan, including a 45-year-old mother and her four daughters, aged between 14 and 22.
